7:22. അതിന്നു അവർ: തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അവർ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും അന്യദൈവങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നു അവയെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു സേവിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടാകുന്നു അവൻ ഈ അനർത്ഥമൊക്കെയും അവർക്കു വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയും.

7:22. Others will then answer, 'Because they abandoned the LORD God of their ancestors, who led them out of Egypt. They embraced other gods whom they worshiped and served. That is why he brought all this disaster down on them.'"

7:22. "And the answer will be, 'Because his people abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and they worshiped other gods instead and bowed down to them. That is why he has brought all these disasters on them.'"

7:22. And they shall answer, Because they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

7:22. People will say, 'This happened because they left the Lord their God. He brought their ancestors out of Egypt, but they decided to follow other gods. They began to worship and to serve those gods. That is why the Lord caused all these bad things to happen to them.'"
